Step 1 – Hold the terminal securely in one hand. With the other hand, and by using two fingers, lift the printer cover release as shown. Fully open the printer cover and remove the old roll of paper.
Step 2 -Unstick the end of the new roll, leaving the end free, hold the paper roll as shown and carefully place into the printer compartment.
Step 3 – Holding the free end of the paper and the terminal, close the printer cover and push firmly until it locks. Pressing and holding the Yellow button will feed the paper through.
To power off your device simply press and hold the ‘.’ and Yellow button on your keypad simultaneously.
To display the menu options on your Dashpay Credit Card Machine, press the F key located near the bottom left of the device’s keypad.
A refund may be processed when a cardholder requests a cancellation of a credit card purchase. Either the full value or a partial value of the transaction may be refunded.
Step 1 – Insert/swipe the card in your Dashpay Credit Card Machine
Step 2 – Use the scroll down key and select option 1 from the transaction menu to make a refund and press the OK/Enter key.
Step 3 – You will be required to enter the default supervisor PIN and press the OK/Enter key to confirm.
Step 4 – Enter the refund amount and press the OK/Enter key to confirm.
Step 5 – If the transaction is successful, a merchant receipt will be printed, followed by a customer receipt.
Step 6 – The merchant receipt will indicate whether it is necessary for the customer to sign the receipt.
In some cases your Dashpay Credit Card Machine may prompt you to select either a ‘straight’ or ‘budget’ option.
Step 1 – In this case, ask the cardholder which option they would prefer.
Step 2 – If the cardholder selects the ‘budget’ option the cardholder needs to decide on a payment period of 6, 12, 18, 24, 36 or 48 months. Select the payment period and press the OK/Enter key to confirm.
Step 3 – Confirm the purchase amount and press the OK/Enter Key
Step 4 – The cardholder must then enter their PIN and confirm the transaction amount by pressing the OK/Enter key.
If the transaction on your Dashpay Credit Card Machine is unsuccessful, the device will print a declined merchant receipt followed by a declined customer receipt. The customer will need to enquire with their bank as to why the transaction was declined.
Step 1 – Insert/swipe the card in your Dashpay Credit Card Machine
Step 2 – Select option 0 from the transaction menu to make a purchase and press the OK/Enter key
Step 3 – Enter the transaction amount and press the OK/Enter key. If you enter the incorrect transaction amount, use the correction key to correct the amount.
Step 4 – Depending on the card type, you may be required to select the cardholder’s account type. Ask the cardholder which account they have and confirm using the OK/Enter key. 0 = Cheque Account 1 = Savings Account 2 = Other
Step 5 – If the transaction is successful, a merchant receipt will be printed followed by a customer receipt.
Step 6 – The merchant receipt will indicate whether it is necessary for the customer to sign the receipt.
Step 1 – Check to see whether or not the customer’s card has a chip on the front or not.
Step 2 – If the card has a chip, always insert it ino the chip card reader on your Dashpay device. This applies even when the card has both a chip and a magnetic stripe. If the card only has a magentic stripe, then you need to swipe the card in the magnetic stripe card reader.
Using the Dashpay Portal you are able to view stats that illustrate when transactions were successful and when they were declined. The selection functionality also allows you to view the information by date (daily, weekly or monthly.)
The EFT Terminal reconciliation report lets you view transactions split by the card type (Credit / Debit / Hybrid) with individual totals for different days by Mastercard and Visa. You can also view the total transactions for the day.
The EFT Terminal reconciliation report allows you to view information of when a particular transaction occurred along with the retrieval number for reconciliation purposes. You can use this report to check every transaction processed through your Dashpay Credit Card Machine.
The transaction log will provide you with specific details relating to transactions, as well as credits and debits on your merchant account. You are also able to download various reports related to you account by selecting a date range and report type.
On the transaction log page select “Service Provider” under logon type. The username will always be your merchant number as supplied by Dashpay (NOTE: Check your Profile page for this number).
Upon activation of your profile you will receive another individual email from Dashpay with your special password to access your transaction log portal. Enter this password here.
Yes, you can access and download your current and previous Monthly Statements on the Dashpay Portal.

Step 1 – You will be requested to select a password of your choice.
Step 2 – Once selected and confirmed, you will be asked to login for the first time as a Dashpay user.
Step 3 – Enter your merchant number as your login ID, as well as the password that you selected.

Yes, in order to receive your machine, you will be required to complete some documentation. We do however have a team that will be able to bring this documentation to you and guide you in filling it out with the correct information.

Step 2 – The merchant number mentioned in the email will be your login ID for the Dashpay website portal.
